CRISPR visualized in augmented reality

CRISPR 3D

In the spring and fall of 2018, through a Virtual Reality @ Berkeley’s Mobile AR team contract project, I developed a proof-of-concept mobile augmented reality app for iOS (with Unity & Vuforia) visualizing the entire CRISPR immune defense system in augmented reality in partnership with the Innovative Genomics Institute (IGI) and Berkeley professor Jennifer Doudna's CRISPR lab.

Demoed at various CRISPR educational outreach events in Berkeley throughout fall 2018. Handed off to the IGI team to continue development in December 2018, CRISPR 3D released in summer 2019.
